Climate Change Action Workshop for
Community Organizations

Thanks to the 40 people who attended this workshop! Here are links to the tools we presented:

• Climate Change in the Windy City and the World (Powerpoint presentation, climate science booklet, and climate science FAQs and updates), Climate Action Plan for Nature: Community Action Strategies (including climate-friendly gardens and lawns), and The Amazing Adventures of Chicago's Climate Action Heroes comic book are all available from the Toolkit LEARN page: http://climatechicago.fieldmuseum.org/learn
• During the Powerpoint discussion, we referenced an article on how worldviews affect people's beliefs about climate change. That article can be found here:

We also talked about how most of the people we talked to during our research in nine Chicago communities believe in climate change and think it is important to do something about it. The videos that we showed you—and the ones we tried to show you that weren't working in the Chicago community section—can be found by clicking on "Watch the stories of Restoring Earth." If you are intersted in bringing a group of youth here, you can learn about field trip policies and princing on this page:
