Forest Glen’s project leaders knew they needed to create a coherent project identity and a creative outreach strategy because their project consisted of multiple components spanning four distinct areas (Edgebrook, Forest Glen, Sauganash, and Wildwood).

Developing a Creative Outreach Strategy

Initially, Girl Scout Troop 20804 had difficulty finding an appropriate space to plant their edible garden. Some pieces of land were too close to busy roads to be safe, others were owned by the city and county, and still others weren't suitable for the long-term commitment a vegetable garden takes.
